I first read book one in this series before bingeing the rest of the book as well. Of the seven books, I managed to read four of them and don't have any plans to read the rest.
The Coverleigh Farm series is about the Sawyer family in romantic life. This book is about how the sisters go through their love life. There's the little sister who falls in love with a single daddy, the older sister who rekindles an old flame, and the other sister who has a friend-to-lover relationship, a single mother sister who falls in love with a hot divorcee dude, and finally, a sister involved in sports romance. There are 2 more books, but I don't know what they are about.
Melanie Harlow did such an amazing job in writing the series. I love her writing style; it's very easy to understand because she's using simple words. There is no unnecessary detail, which I appreciate even more. Certain authors love to elaborate on the character's traits, which sometimes can be boring and long. I can feel the chemistry between characters so well in every companion book. I love the angst, the enemies to lovers, and yes, all of this is adult romance, so please expect a lot of romance scenes.
My favourite book in this series is irresistible because it has my favourite tropes in it. Overall, this whole series is worth the hype. Out of 5 stars, I give it 4.5 stars for all the books. I definitely plan to re-read the entire series though.
about author
Melanie Harlow likes her martinis dry, her heels high, and her history with the naughty bits left in. Her stories are about modern couples falling in old-fashioned love, and even though romance is a fantasy, her heroes and heroines are everyday people with real problems who stumble on their way to happily ever after. She lifts her glass to readers and writers from her home near Detroit, MI, where she lives with her husband and two daughters
