I've been in a reading slump for years and now I'm right on track. After so long, I've finally made some progress in my reading journey as I've finally managed to read five books in April. First of all, I know it's not that much, but for someone who has been struggling with a reading slump, it can be considered as much right.
The book that I read in April, as you see in the picture, ends with us, Matilda, Lukas, and twisted love, sex, and vanity. One thing that I fail at is following my TBR list, which I'm trying to fix this month. I find it hard to follow the list, but I'll try it again until I succeed.
I read "Sex and Vanity" because I'd been reading it for months and hadn't finished it, so I made up my mind that I had to finish reading it no matter what. Lukas and Twisted Love is a book recommended by youtuber More to Marry. I get influenced a lot by her, so I am tempted to read it. While it ends with us, is a book reviewed and recommended by a lot of bookstagram and I'm curious about the story. Last but not least, Matilda is a book that from the long list of big reads, I know I have to make some progress.
Here is my short review. I would give 5 stars to Matilda as it is so humurous and relevant till this day. 4 stars for Lukas and Twisted Love as the book is so interesting and kind of gives me butterflies in my stomach, and 3.5 stars for sex and vanity, and it ends with us. I think both books are great, but there is something missing in the storyline.
