I've been suffering from textured skin, large pores, acne, and hyperpigmentation for years. To say that I have acne is not entirely true. The main causes of my hyperpigmentation are picking my whiteheads and wearing a mask.
Anyway, I've been searching for a new skincare product. I want to start fresh, and my goal is to fade the hyperpigmentation, minimise large pores and get even skin. Most of the products that I'm using are ordinary and drugstore products because they're cheap, and at the same time, can give a promising result.
Let's start with a cleanser. I'm using Senka Perfect Whip cleanser. I want to use a gel cleanser, but I want to finish the cleanser that I have first. As for the product, I love it as it's a foam cleanser and cleans me of dirt.
Next is toner, which is a soothing facial toner from Simple. Since I'm using active ingredients for serums, I don't want to use more active ingredients, so I chose a soothing toner.
As for serum, I decided to splurge a little bit. I'm using the ordinary Alpha Arbutin, Niacinamide, and Azeliac suspension. I've used niacinamide before and it works, but sadly, I've stopped using it since I broke. I'm using niacinamide for AM, and for alpha-arbutin and azeliac suspension, I'm using it as PM. I use both on some days and either on others.
I've been searching for the best moisturiser for oily skin and I discovered Hada Labo Snow Dew moisturizer. I love the texture and the moisture that it gives to my face. Anyway, Hada Labo Snow Dew Moisturiser contains 3 hylaronic acids that can moisturise the face. I have been using this for a month and it has helped to hydrate my face.
Last but not least, the most important step is sunscreen! I'm not using sunscreen like ever, but I have to since I'm using a lot of active ingredients. I chose Biore uv-rich water sunscreen. I love this product because it's water-based, didn't leave a whitecast after applying it, and absorbed into the skin pretty quickly.
